15:30Dedication of Church Completion Project
On Sunday 7th October 2018 at 3.30pm the dedication of our church completion project will take place, led by the Rt Revd Dr Jonathan Gibbs, Bishop of Huddersfield; with light refreshments. We shall be delighted to have the new kitchen, internal loo's and all-accessible south entrance door, as well as the more dignified re-siting of our ancient font. Saturday 13th October 201810:00St Aidan's Church Coffee Morning: Children's Society
Come and enjoy coffee or tea, with cakes. A chance to sit down, relax and socialise with friends. Usually any profits go to our funds, but today we give the (Church of England) Children's Society. If you have a Children's Society collection box at home then please bring to church, thank you. The church is open from 9.30am until 12.30pm for viewing

St Aidan's Church ''Messy Church'': families welcome for creativity & tea.

If possible please kindly let me know if you are thinking of being there - if we have some ideas of numbers attending, then it helps with catering (we always have a informal tea) and the amount of creative materials that we need to prepare. But: if you are not sure until the last minute, and haven't been able to let us know, we still very much welcome you, your family and friends - we would rather you join us than not be there.

Simplified Mass liturgy for our Harvest Festival. We welcome the Baptised (Christened) of all traditions to receive holy communion: and if you belong to another Faith (or have no faith) you are welcome to join us as an observer, with no obligation. The Harvest Liturgy is followed by an auction of fresh fruit & vegetables & flowers for Christian Aid. The Christian Aid seed boxes can be brought with cash gifts to Christian Aid, and dried and tinned goods are sent to the Women & Children's Refuge

You are welcome to the All-souls Annual Requiem Mass at which, among others, we remember by name those who have died in the last twelve months.
